The Litter Prevention Network (LPN) is a nonprofit working toward a cleaner, healthier Greater Houston through litter prevention and reduction. Although cleanup projects play a vital role in removing litter, lasting change requires more than cleaning up after the problem. Without addressing the causes of litter, the cycle continues.

Founded in April 2026, LPN is focused on preventing trash from becoming litter in the first place. Through a holistic approach that combines education, prevention, and reduction, we work to remedy the effects of past littering, address today's litter, and prevent tomorrow's. We envision a future where everyone can live in a clean, healthy, and safe environment.
