Trash Rangers empowers young students to become leaders in litter prevention. Through engaging activities, hands-on learning, and positive reinforcement, children develop lifelong habits of responsibility, respect for their environment, and pride in keeping their communities clean. By reaching children at an early age, we are helping create a future generation that sees litter prevention as a normal part of everyday life.
The Trash Rangers Community Fundraiser provides elementary school students with an opportunity to support litter prevention while sharing practical solutions with their families and communities. Students take home a fundraising catalog featuring litter-prevention and trash-containment products — such as vehicle trash containers, pickup truck trash containers, cargo nets, and other tools designed to keep trash from becoming roadside litter. Every purchase supports the mission of creating cleaner roads, cleaner communities, and a future generation committed to litter prevention.
The Community Builder Partnership Program engages developers, builders, contractors, and construction companies in promoting litter prevention and community stewardship. Participating organizations display Litter Prevention Network awareness signs at the entrances of their construction sites, developments, and projects to demonstrate their commitment to keeping communities clean and preventing litter.
The Clean Driver Ambassador Program encourages high school students with a valid driver's license to become leaders in litter prevention within their schools and communities. Students who join receive an LPN vehicle window sticker and commit to promoting responsible waste management. In return, participants receive practical litter-prevention tools such as an interior vehicle trash container or a pickup truck bed trash container. Participants can earn points, rewards, recognition, and additional incentives by referring other students and actively supporting litter prevention efforts. The program empowers young drivers to become role models for environmental responsibility while helping create cleaner roads, safer communities, and a culture of litter prevention for future generations.
Take Pride in Your Streets Week is an annual community-wide initiative that encourages residents, businesses, schools, and organizations to spend a few minutes helping keep their communities clean. During a designated two-week period each year, participants are encouraged to pick up litter in front of their homes, businesses, neighborhoods, and surrounding public areas. The program promotes community pride, environmental stewardship, and personal responsibility. Our goal is to create a culture where keeping communities clean becomes a shared responsibility and a source of community pride.
The Clean Parking Lot Partnership Program engages large retailers, grocery stores, shopping centers, and other high-traffic businesses in litter prevention and community responsibility. We visit businesses to raise awareness about the amount of litter that collects in parking lots and surrounding areas, encouraging them to take an active role in keeping their properties clean. We invite participating businesses to increase cleanup efforts, assign staff to remove litter regularly, place awareness signage, provide more visible trash containers, and partner with our organization to promote responsible waste disposal. By working together, businesses can show leadership, protect the communities they serve, and help create cleaner, safer, and more welcoming public spaces.
